Earth day celebrated Huntington Beach Style! April 19th is Earth Day and there will be an interesting recycling event at the Rainbow Disposal Company at it’s newly modernized facility at 17121 Nichols St. 
Do you ever wonder what happens to all our “stuff” we throw away? Well now you can find out how they recycle old batteries, light bulbs and electronic waste. There will also be booths hosted by the Public Works department and other utility and water companies from both Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley.There’s going to be lots of information on building a “green community.”
